Clean Water Should Not Be a Day’s Walk Away

Today is World Water Day. So, while you and I may mark this date on our calendar just once a year, Catholic Relief Services is devoted to ensuring that our poor neighbors around the world have clean water every single day.

Safe drinking water should not be a pipe dream. That’s why we make access to clean water part of everything we do. CRS works in some of the poorest and driest regions of the world to:

  • Bring water to parched communities
  • Promote better health through improved sanitation
  • Dig wells in remote areas
  • Prevent rain runoff and erosion
  • Help raise the water table

Please help Catholic Relief Services celebrate World Water Day in a meaningful way with a generous gift today. Your compassionate donation will support CRS’ work to feed, shelter, heal, counsel, and empower our suffering brothers and sisters overseas.

Watch this amazing video in which Charles Osgood describes how generous supporters like you have helped CRS transform a drought-prone community in Ethiopia into a thriving oasis.

On behalf of CRS and all the people you touch every day through your compassion and prayers, I thank you.

Catholic Relief Services was founded in 1943 by the Catholic Bishops of the United States.
