As the G.S 100 year anniversary events are happening, I am torn with organizing a reunion of my old troop. It is sad to see such changes happening to what has been a fabulous organization for girls and women. If I were to do it again, I am sure American Heritage would be the way to go now. http://www.ahgonline.org/

Why hasn't that happened? We girls have jealous of the boy scouts for a long time, why haven't we done anything about it? It is truly shocking. But what is more shocking is why our Bishop's have not came out and simply said that parishes should not sponsor or allow Girl Scout functions or sale of cookies at parishes any longer? Mo more cookies for me. But I sure am going to miss those Thin Mint ones. Guess it is time to head out and find a replacement. Or better yet, just add Girl Scout cookies to what I am "giving up" for Lent and make it a permanent "giving up" I had heard about this from a friend at Church during bible study.
